Quinn Konitshek, CEO/Founder
Windansea Capital was formed by Quinn Konitshek, CEO. His experience working in capital markets, acquisitions, and development lead him to form Windansea Capital, named after the famous Windansea Beach in La Jolla, CA.
Quinn most recently worked for Barvin, a class A multifamily operator/developer in Houston, TX. Barvin had over $600MM in multifamily AUM, and Quinn served on the acquisitions team performing sourcing, due diligence, asset management, and capital market activities for the group. Previous to Barvin, Quinn work for a Houston/Los Angeles based real estate developer Roy Asset Holding. Quinn was involved in development, acquisitions, dispositions, and capital markets for the group. Their most notable development to date has been the Travis, a $120 million mixed-use high rise in Houston.
Quinn earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University and was a member of the SDSU Men’s lacrosse team and the Real Estate Society. Quinn also serves his community as a firefighter for the Atascocita Fire Department.
John Thrall, Managing Partner
John Thrall is the head of capital markets for Windansea Capital, focusing on the capital raising, debt placement, and deal advisory front. John joined George Smith Partners, a boutique real estate capital advisory firm, in 2019 as a member of Team Meredith.
Prior to joining GSP, John was a Director of Acquisitions at TowerPoint Capital. During his time at TowerPoint, he focused on acquiring and managing telecommunications assets.
John graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University and received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. While at SDSU, he was actively involved in Finance and Investment Society, Aztec Mentor Program, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and Interfraternity Council.
In his spare time, John enjoys playing piano, running and spending time with family and friends. In the future, he hopes to travel extensively and build a personal real estate portfolio.
